Goldstein served in Maryland State Government from 1939 through 1998, which included 10 terms as Comptroller. At the time of his death, he was believed to be the longest-serving elected state official in U.S. History. This gregarious public servant’s office has been relocated to the Visitor Center, along with artifacts, photographs, and information on his political career.\n
