Run to the Taproom-Mully’s Brewery Father’s Day 5K

Celebrate Father’s Day with “Will Run for Beer” 5K at Mully’s Brewery, organized by Good Day for a Run LLC. Now in its third year, this fun road race finishes at the taproom with craft beer, a food truck and awards at the after-party. A 1-mile kids run begins at 8:30 a.m. for ages 14 and younger, with all youth participants in both the 1-mile and 5K receiving a finisher medal and root beer. The event supports Patuxent Habitat for Humanity.

The chip-timed 5K starts at 9 a.m. on mostly flat roads and is open to walkers and runners of all ages and paces. Participants receive a custom race shirt, pint glass and ticket for one craft beer; those younger than 21 receive a finisher medal and root beer. Awards will be presented to the top overall and age-group finishers in multiple divisions. Shirts are available in adult, women’s and youth sizes, with first choice guaranteed to those who register by June 7. Free photos, parking and family fun are included. Packet pickup is available race day from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. at the Good Day for a Run tent. The race will be held rain or shine, with no refunds or deferrals.
